I downloaded Desktop Sidebar and Clear Cache and ForecastFox.

Firefox couldn’t be used as my main browser because it interferred with Oracle applications.

I have tried Zoho because I can see many applications for spreadsheets and documents

at  work.  It was so easy to get right in and give it a try, sharing information etc.

I haven’t been keeping up with the weekly blogs, but have been signing up for everything.

Week 2:  Set up Library Life blog

Week 3:  RSS feeds- signed up for Bloglines and received over 700 feeds

Week 4:  Wikis-created a PeanutButter Wiki

Week 5:  Social Bookmarking & Tagging-Installed del.icio.us and Tag on my home pc

Week 6:  Discovery week—played around with Second Life and Facebook

Week 7:  Online Applications & Tools—still trying to become familiar with everything and keep it all straight!

Week 8:  Online Social Networks-Having a great time with Facebook, I am never alone now!

 Week 9:  Created an avatar in Second Life Feb. 25th “Adele Allen”.  Lots of fun talking to other people from around the world…in many different languages.

I had some problems getting into the Active Spreadsheets so that I could upload into Google spreadsheets and try it out.

This application looks very interesting and one I could put to good use.  I will come down for the drop-in session tomorrow and get some help. 

Just began reading this article and find it easy to follow. 

 I wish I had more time to investigate…we need a snow day!

I am still in the learning process and on to Week 4.  I think that I subscribed to too many blogline RSS feeds, today there were 1,100 of them to read.  May unsubscribe to some

tonight!  After Krista’s presentation, I am set up in Second Life and was shocked to meet so many people from around the world…the first night.   Now I am curious enough to go in a slink around to see who is there! 

I want to spend some time in the “Presentation” section and

spruce up my blog so I am spending quite a bit of time looking

at others right now!
